Prodigal YouTube Video
Posted on August 23rd, 2010 1 commentExcerpts from The Prodigal Parable
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him …
The older brother became angry and refused to go in.
“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ “. Luke 15:11ff
Scenes from my prodigal journey appropriately set to Prodigal by Casting Crowns:

Your story has always brought hope to my heart.
From the first time I heard it till now, the song How GREAT is our God rings true as even though you ran for 27 years, when God brought you back, He not only had equipped you to serve Him in a great capacity, but He also filled your heart with compassion for others. When you have compassion, you not only care…you act on it.
Thank you for sharing your story! Keep bringing HOPE to all of those who have raised a child in the Lords love to only have them step off the path for a while. There is always hope of return.
